AGM DEFERRED

Dear Member,
I hope this message finds you in good physical and mental health.
Regrettably, given the times that we currently find ourselves in, we will be unable to have our AGM on Thursday 21st of May 2020 as per our intention and Club Constitution.
Having considered various options, the following has been agreed by the Executive Committee and is proposed to Members:
- That the 2020 Annual General Meeting will be deferred until such time as it is safe and secure for all Members to participate in an adjourned AGM in accordance with Government and HSE guidelines relating to gatherings.
- That the current Executive Committee and Officers of the Club will remain in situ as elected until the 2020 AGM is held.
- Audited annual accounts for 2019-2020 will be prepared and available on demand as per the Constitution.
Please Note: This decision to defer is also consistent with the decisions of many other Clubs in Leinster.
Should you have any concern over this decision, please email me at info@goreyrfc.com. Your consent to this decision will be implied by no response but responses are most welcome.
For now, the Club and all activities within it, remain closed. However I will maintain regular contact with you to try to keep you up to date as the situation changes and hopefully we will get back on the field of play very soon.
