CAPTAIN'S MESSAGE

First and foremost, I would like to sincerely thank those who chose me to be club captain for the 2023/2024 season.

Having played for Gorey since Minis, it is a great privilege to have been entrusted with this role.

I would like to thank outgoing Captain Jordan Ahern for his tireless work over the past couple of seasons. To all the work done by our Executive and Sub Committees, in keeping the club constantly moving forward and growing, thank you.

I would like to extend my good wishes to the ladies for the upcoming season. I have no doubt they will build upon last year's success and do great things this year.

To all the Minis and underage players, who are the senior players of tomorrow, I hope the coming season will bring plenty of success.

I would also like to thank all those who volunteer and help fundraise throughout the year, these people are what make Gorey RFC the special place that it is.

I know I speak on behalf of all senior players when I say that we will once again do our very best to bring pride and enjoyment to all members of Gorey RFC.

Looking forward to seeing you all around the club when the time is right.
